Looking for some like-minded people

I have always wanted to have friends that are devs. With every other friend I’ve had, I feel like I can’t share that part of my life with them, and even if I do, they don’t get “it.” So here goes… Are there any female devotees or non-creepy,preferably gay) male devotees in the SoCal area? It’s like a wheeler mecca out here… there have to be a few. I have my friends that I talk to on line, but an actual face-to-face friendship would be so amazing! Let me know!

Let’s be honest…

I’m gonna tag everything I can possibly think of in order to get as many responses as possible.

What is your opinion on devotees and why?

What is your experience with devotees( i.e. online, real life)?

Would you be willing to have a conversation with a “non-creepy dev” in order for us to try and explain our side of things?

Feel free to add on any comments, rants, compliments, personal stories, or judgements that you find necessary. I’m honestly looking for an open and frank discussion here.

Thanks for all of the replies so far! I am hoping to get more. xxquadxx, there is a difference between devotees and pretenders/wannabes/ someone with BIID. Most devotees that I know have no interest in pretending or even wanting to be disabled. I find that we all tend to be grouped together, when in reality, we are all so different!
